Biography of Lawyer Tsegay Eyassu

Tseggay Iyassu, was a highly gifted Eritrean. At quite a young age he became well accomplished as attorney-at-law, fluent and well-versed linguist, creative writer, teacher, headmaster, and orator of high order. Advocate Iyassu was a very proud Eritrean, and he utilized his political, public relations and communications skills with efficiency to the Eritrean cause and to uphold the rights of Eritreans initially under occupation, followed by his time as a freedom fighter in the field and his life in the Diaspora. Advocate Iyassu will always be remembered as that Eritrean, the resolute individual who fought and won, knowing full well of the choices he made and the heavy sacrifices to him and his family.
